_Echo of Movement

Description

Echo of Movement captures a raw, visceral dialogue between structure and spontaneity. The composition is bisected by a sharp horizontal tension, where a heavy, textured field of coral-red looms over a grounded expanse of cool whites and neutrals. The piece is defined by its rhythmic mark-making—frantic, gestural black linework and deliberate palette knife incisions that seem to record the physical history of the paint. It evokes the feeling of a landscape undergoing constant transformation, where the energy of the upper stratum echoes into the quiet, complex terrain below, creating a powerful sense of arrested motion and balanced instability.
