_Clear dawn

Description

Clear Dawn is a compelling abstract work that masterfully balances structure with raw tactile energy. Centered around two stacked, floating color fields, the painting captures the quiet transition of early morning light. The upper block of soft, muted pink rests above a vibrant, high-energy field of rich yellow, separated by a thin, grounding horizon of deep crimson.

The piece gains its emotional weight from its heavy impasto texture and dynamic execution. Visible palette knife scoring and fine, energetic incisions slash across both color blocks, revealing underlying layers of paint and creating a beautiful tension between calm geometry and expressive movement. The distressed edges of the color fields bleed softly into a textured, cream-colored border, giving the impression of an atmosphere slowly illuminating from within. It is a powerful exploration of warmth, light, and physical presence.
